At BOTTL we’re keen to find wines where great quality is prioritised over great quantity and this is a case in point. With only 3 hectares of vineyards Domaine de la Brossette focus on producing fine expressions of Gamay and Cabernet Franc, the two most planted red grapes in the Loire Valley.
This pale pink rosé is 100% gamay. Gamay is perhaps more famous for producing the juicy red wines we love from Beaujolais. The richness of the red grape is retained in this rosé but there is a refreshing steeliness that makes this wine equally mouthwatering. Expect lovely aromas of raspberry and redcurrant on the nose followed by concentrated red berries when gulping it down (responsibly).
