It’s WHITE. It’s RICH. It’s SUPERB…
Whilst most of the world’s Viognier is found in France, Australia and the USA there is a small pocket of these vines to be found just south of Thessaloniki in Northern Greece farmed by a chap called Vangelis and his family.
We’re fans of an aromatic Viognier at BOTTL and this example from vines just 5km away from the sea unsurprisingly gives the wine a zestiness not often found in this variety.
