It’s RED. It’s RICH. It’s GOOD…
I used to list this at Carousel restaurant back in 2013 when it first opened in Marylebone (since moved to Fitzrovia) and it was probably the most popular wine we sold. Why? Smooth, rich and delicious probably sums it up quite nicely. Puglia is the land of sunshine and is best known for Primitivo of which we have an equally good bottle available but not a lot of people know about the Nero di Troia grape. Its named after the town of Troia which was named by the ancient greeks and for me this wine has FEASTING written all over it. So grab yourself large plates of pasta, slow cooked meat and vegetables, fresh salads of tomatoes drizzled in rich olive oils and pour a glass of this – you’re welcome!
